These are 100% real baby eels harvested in Spain, which are considered delicatessen since they cannot be farmed. They are only caught at dusk, at the rivers' wetlands, usually in the Ebro River in Catalonia, Basque Country, the Cantabrian Rivers, and the Galician Miño River.
